What is Indonesia eVOA?

eVOA means Electronic Visa on Arrival. The B1 Visa on Arrival is a single-entry travel document for eligible visitors travelling for tourism, visiting family, permitted meetings and events, or transit.

The eVOA must normally be used within 90 days of issue. This is separate from the permitted stay: the initial stay is up to 30 days and may be extended once for up to another 30 days.

Entry is not guaranteed. An Indonesian Immigration Officer makes the final admission decision at the port of entry.

Common Indonesia eVOA questions

Is the 90-day validity the permitted stay?

No. The visa is normally available to use for entry within 90 days from issue. The initial permitted stay after arrival is up to 30 days.

Can the stay be extended?

The B1 stay may generally be extended once for up to 30 additional days, giving a maximum properly extended stay of 60 days.

Can I work or study with a B1 eVOA?

No. Employment, study and activities outside the authorised B1 purpose require the appropriate visa category.
